You may have seen it come through your gallery, but I'll pimp it here, too. Jim and I had a great bit of fun working on a pseudo-theme song for Relativity. The score came to me and stuck for the last few days, so we got it down. Granted, between my rustiness (haven't written music in many years) and our less-than-perfect free software, the piece isn't perfect. But we're still pretty proud of it.
I've had a few kinda-major missteps in the Relativity art commission department recently. Has me feeling a bit gun-shy and self-conscious, so not sure where that will lead me. I do still have a few pieces/projects pending, but perhaps it's a good thing money is tight and I need to pull back a bit. Several artists have approached me about hiring them for the series. So a quick note that anything significant probably won't happen until after the first of the year. I'm not suggesting anyone make me fan-art, but some people have mentioned they really want to draw our characters. If you can't wait, that's the route to go. If not, do know that I am keeping everyone's information on hand for when things get back on track in that regard--though I can't give firm dates when that will be.
I spent upwards of 10 hours on a 3-doll prize piece. I'm SOOO happy I can see the end of the tunnel on this one. Hopefully after that, I can plow through the rest of my list.
Next Relativity episode? It's a coming. Seems the "simple" ones are the ones giving us fits these days.

It seems a common thing for contest hosts to complain about the difficulty in judging. That's because it's hard! And this contest was no exception. Lovely art, wonderful words, and great ideas. With so many diverse entries, we had to pick one criteria to use as the main judging point. That was story. More importantly: Who did we want to know more about. Which pieces piqued our interest and made us want to know what happened next. With that in mind, we announce the winners...
As pixel artists, we opened this special category since pixels sometimes struggle against more trad
I do apologize for the delay due to Stash and then my not feeling well for the last few days. Notes will be going out to winners (and donators) about their prizes in the next few days. Participation prizes should be awarded in the next day or two.
Due to my illness, the next Relativity story has been delayed. "All that Glitters" should be posted by Friday.
As we near the end of our "profile project", look for a special article featuring the art in the next week or two.
