Needed to get this in for the midnight mark. My clock said 12:00 exactly.
These are me and *Ravenswd's OCs, Melody and Ravenswood, along with Captain Sybil. Of course, there is a story here...
Anelia Lioncourt's family was well-known in high society. She was also known for being the keeper of the family's dark secret: Her great uncle was the notorious pirate, Cannonball Mulligan. Anelia was failing in health and when the pretty young woman came to her home, offering her services to care for the elderly Lioncourt, she took the girl up on her offer. A mere three days later the girl disappeared, along with one of Mulligan's treasure maps.
Lioncourt was not one to just take these kinds of things lying down. She immediately hired a man--a man who made it his business to find people and things. His name was Ravenswood Cadavre. He promised Lioncourt he would find the map. After quite a bit of digging, he was surprised to find that the map had been taken by the infamous Captain Sybil Marisalli. Determined to make good on his promise, Ravenswood decided to leave his masked hero disguise behind and get the map the old fashioned way. Well, let's just say he bit off more than he could chew.
When his wife, Melody, heard that Ravenswood had been captured by Sybil, she immediately set out to rescue him. However, she wasn't gonna do the masked hero thing either. Instead, she decided to take Sybil on as a pirate herself (and a bit of a saucy pirate, I may add). Unfortunately for Melody, Sybil is not willing to let go of the Lioncourt map or her male captive that easily...

Art Notes:
Don't ask me how long this took. But it was upwards of 20 hours. Unfortunately, in the middle of doing this, I had a baby. That made the final push to get this done quite challenging between diaper changes and feedings. I'm glad I squeaked it in!
The art is all mine. I did reference the girls' poses from Doll on the Hill - ~grotesque-lestrange. The Ravenswd pose was referenced too, but I don't have the link handy. I'll post when I find it.
I know there are flaws, and I wanted to do more with the shadows and such, but time was not on my side. I may come and tweak this up after the contest is over.
*** Captain Sybil belongs to *Captain-Savvy. Ravenswood and Melody belong to me. Don't steal! ***
Thanks. Well, even though I didn't win, I had fun with this. I think this is the biggest major pixel piece I've done since your contest. LOL! It's fun to imagine how everything transpired and how it would wrap up.
This is really good! And Melody makes a sexy pirate!
Sybil looks really cute.
